Retirement Odyssey
We drove to Dinan from Renne; much easier getting out of town than it was getting in!! Easy ride until the tiny, winding cobblestone streets of the old city with their numerous one way and pedestrian only streets.
Weather remains great, 70-75 and sunny (see photos.) Possible rain tomorrow; could mean another laundry day (we plan to go about once a week.)
Dinan is our base for the next four days. We plan to drive along the Rance River to St Malo for a day and along the northern coast of France west of St Malo on another day
Out hotel, the Arvor, is in an old convent. Enjoyed some Breton musicians playing hurdy-gurdy and Celtic harp. Excellent fish dinner at La Fleur de Sel, less than a block away.
