When you fly into Nice the airport is right on the water which is so cool! We arrived at our hotel to freshen up before walking to Old Town by the ocean! We stopped at one restaurant on the beach for lunch which was so incredibly relaxing. After lunch we walked past the Opera House to get into Old Town where we saw lots of little shops and a flower market! We then found the government building before walking through more little french streets! Once we walked to the other end of Old Town we arrived at the bottom of a walkway to get up inside the Capital Hill which holds the famous Chateau on it. We climbed up to the top to see breathtaking views of Nice! Once we made it back down the hill we walked back to our hotel to have dinner there then watch Gilmore Girls while looking out our window at the beautiful beach! The next day we had lunch at Chez Loulou before starting our tour out to Monaco and back. Our tour guide this day was absolutely amazing! He knew so much history and treated us like princesses! He took us up to an amazing view in Nice before heading to the city of Eze. On the way there we saw Sean Connary's house. Eze is a very old city that he dropped us off to walk through. It was very cool and medieval. We then had a snack of crepes before getting in the car to head to the Fragonard Factory. Fragonard is a perfume company and we went to their candle factory in Eze! The tour was so interesting then we got to smell the different perfumes! Next we headed to Monaco which turns out is its own country! First we drove up to see a good view of the harbor and Grand Prix track up by the Castle of Monaco. Then our driver was able to drive us on the Grand Prix track which was so cool!! We drove past the Casino and the Harbor where all the huge yachts are kept! The next morning we walked down to the main street in Nice to get starbucks and see the replica of Notre Dame. This street has a tram going down the middle of it all the way down to a main square that was adorable. We then walked along the beach back to the hotel where we were picked up for a second tour to Cannes. This driver was not as knowledgable as the first one and at times we feared for our lives at his driving, but it was entertaining! Cannes was so cool because they were setting up for the Film Festival! We got to see the Red Carpet and all the tents everywhere! Also we found out that Blake Lively had flown into Nice the day after we did and after seeing her pictures from her hotel, we think we stood right outside and saw her balcony!! Also Justin Timberlake was there so we were no doubt freaking out. After leaving Cannes we headed to Antibes where we did a loop of the town before stopping and getting more Crepes. The next town we went to used to be a Monastery and is the highest town in that area so it had a cool view of the country side. We got lost coming back down to our driver which was an adventure! By the time we got back to our hotel we were ready for our French cheese plate and wine in the hotel! We then got ready to head to our next stop, Vienna!
