We arrived in Paris early Friday morning and took a bus into town where Elizabeth McGehee was waiting for us! We went and saw her school, American University of Paris, and then began our day. First she walked us to an adorable street with all sorts of cafe's on the side walks and cute little Parisan stores. We stumbled across a Macaroon store where we went in and ordered a box of assorted flavors each that we would later demolish. We went to one of Elizabeth's favorite restaurants for lunch where we got the best Croque Monsieur's I have ever eaten. They were absolutely delicious and we sat outside and talked for hours! Then we made our way over to the Eiffle Tower where we sat in the grass and ate our Macaroons, pretending to be locals. It was so perfect! After this we walked around a bit and I got to take a picture in the same exact spot that I took my first picture of the Eiffle Tower when I came exactly four years ago!! It was so nice getting to see Elizabeth and catch up on everything! Unfortunately the time came for us to head to the airport but we had the perfect day in Paris!
