Semester in Europe!

So on Friday of our last weekend in Rome, Justine and I went to Florence for the day to do some last shopping! We were there all day and ate at our favorite restaurants and went shopping in the leather market and other stores we liked to hit when we lived there! It was a nice short little trip! We love how easily it is to go there just for a day. On Saturday we finally were able to go exploring to find the Knights of Malta Key Hole. We spent the morning beginning to pack which was so sad... but after lunch we headed out to the keyhole! It is up a hill, through beautiful gardens, after you pass by Circus Maximus! When we reached the top where the building is there was a line so we figured it must be to look through the keyhole! It was an amazing view. You look through the keyhole and see a long hallway of trees and at the end of the trees is a perfect view of St. Peter's at the Vatican. It is absolutely breathtaking and amazing that it is such a perfect frame. Then, all around that building are incredible lookout points of Rome so of course we stayed up there for a very long time. We then headed to Trastevere to have dinner with Taylor and Kristin! On Sunday we met up with some girls at the Vatican for one last Sunday mass! After mass we went to lunch at T. Bonz before heading over to try to get into the Roman Forum because on the first Sunday of every month it is free! But by the time we got there around 3pm for some reason they were closing early so we could not get in!! Instead we took a while walking home up Via Nationale and stopped in every single touristy store looking for perfect presents for everyone.
