When mom arrived in Rome, we had a delicious dinner at EATALY after putting her stuff down and settling in! It was so much fun we sat outside and listened to all the street music and bustle of Italian life while drinking our wine and eating our pizza and salad. After this I finally got to take her to Come il Latte! She understands now why I am so in love with it! In the morning I had to show her all around my neighborhood one last time of course! We had breakfast at a little cafe on the corner of a street that I walk to school on because it is very well known but I had not gone yet. After breakfast I took her to get a cinnamon cappuccino from the place that serves pancakes! We then walked up and down Via Urbana and the surrounding streets in Monti so that I could show her all of my favorite stores and locals! We had lunch at a cute modern restaurant called Urbana 46 and it was very good! I love trying the new restaurants when people come to town. We then got another cup of coffee before heading to Piazza Venezia to show mom the views from the Victor Emanual II Monument. It was a pretty day so the views were great! We then went and walked down Via del Corso one last time and went in Zara and the Disney store before getting away from the masses of tourists and heading back to the hotel! We had a delicious dinner at our hotel sitting outside before heading back in to pack for part two of our adventure to Nice!
