Semester in Europe!

First, I have to give title credit for this chapter to my roommate, Justine. When we woke up we decided to go to a little bakery down the street from Sarah's apartment for breakfast before we went to church. There we found a huge selection of pastries to pick from so we sat there and enjoyed chocolate filled croissants and caffe lattes! For church this morning we went to the Pantheon and it was so beautiful. We got there expecting for it to be like when we went to St. Mark's in Venice where they only spoke Italian, but there happened to be a priest who spoke English so he translated the most important parts for us! That was so helpful! The service itself was much smaller than in Venice but it was still very cool to see how they still do all the rituals from forever ago. Also, it is incredibly cool to be apart of a church service in churches that are so old and have so much history in them. After church we still weren't very hungry so we sat in the sun on the wall outside of the pantheon and listened to street music, people watched, and talked until it became lunch time. From there we went to a place advertised for healthy eating and it was delicious! It had a million smoothies, sandwiches, salads, quiche, and much more! I got a smoothie and a quiche and loved it! After we enjoyed our lunch we set out for the Magnum ice cream parlor. On our way we stopped in both Zara and H&M and honestly spent hours in there. So by the time we left we were ready for some ice cream. I am not kidding when I say that this ice cream changed my life. I now want to go there every single day. You walk in and choose your ice cream -- either chocolate or vanilla. You then choose if you want it dipped in white chocolate, milk chocolate, or dark chocolate. Then you choose three toppings from a selection of like 15. They then drizzle a different type of chocolate on top, let it cool, then let you eat your creation. It was AMAZING. I am taking everyone back there!! From there, we started our walk back home! After unpacking, cleaning my room, etc Justine and I went out to explore our neighborhood. We decided that all the interesting stuff if down from our apartment to the colosseum, and past that! So we are excited to see what all it has to offer!
