Semester in Europe!

So this morning Justine and I continued our newly found tradition of going to breakfast before class! We went to my favorite, Buddy's and got omelets which were so good! Then we had one class before going to lunch at a new place called Platz. They had lots of sandwich options and I got a chicken wrap that was amazing! We then had our second class before heading out to a gelato place by our house that Marco told us about! The gelato place is all made with fresh, natural ingredients and they have a lot of options that are gluten free, milk free, sugar free, etc. Their mission is to make gelato out of healthier options and so that everyone can enjoy it regardless of their allergies! It was so cute!! And the flavors were very interesting but tasted amazing! We were walking to it and on the way discovered my new happy place in this city. We had never explored the area of Monti between our apartment and the colosseum until tonight and we now LOVE our neighborhood. There are adorable streets with restaurants and stores and gelato places and all of this stuff that now makes me understand why they say our area is like SoHo. We found this one shop that had all handmade goods and the owner was this cute old man! We then found this candle making shop that I am obsessed with. The owner makes the candles in front of you and the smallest candles are only 50 cents. They smelled so good and Justine and I stood there talking to him and learning about what he does for the longest time. The little area is so close to our house so Justine and I decided that every evening after school we are going to explore it a little more! Also, a highlight of my day was finding oreos and chocolate that has oreo in the middle of it... it was incredible. After we got home we packed for Belgium!!
