Semester in Europe!

So this morning we woke up and went back to a place that had "American Breakfast" that we had seen in passing the day before. We walked in and it was packed with locals, which is always a good sign. They had two pages full of coffee options, bacon, eggs any way, pancakes, a huge assortment of pastries, and much more! The people working were so friendly and we were able to sit and enjoy our breakfast like the locals do! I ordered pancakes because having a croissant for breakfast every morning called for a switch up. The pancakes came with not only syrup, but also nutella, white chocolate, and two kinds of jam to put on it. Now I must say, dad's pancakes are better than these were, but they were still pancakes so they were still delicious! I also got a cappuccino with cinnamon and it was so good!! They sprinkled cinnamon on top of the steamed milk and it was genius. After finishing breakfast, we made our way to the Trevi Fountain with a few stops in some stores on the way there! We spent some time having more Lizzie McGuire moments and people watching before heading to the monument. We went to the church that I saw earlier in the semester that has no dome in it, but a painted one that tricks your eye, and the Pantheon. We then stopped in a little cafe by school to wait for my friends to have a late lunch. All along the way I loved playing tour guide (even though my tours consist mostly of "oh the restaurant right around here has such and such and it is so good!" mixed in with a few fun facts) and I was very happy at all the information I have retained from the tours I have been on. For lunch we went to the pizza/pasta restaurant that we went to on Valentine's Day and sat there for hours talking! After lunch we headed to the Magnum store to make our own ice cream bars. I have decided that I need to take everyone there since it is such an experience. We then went into H&M because it is so different from the American one and we love it! After shopping, we went to Taylor's apartment for her to change and us to rest our feet before finding a place for dinner. We decided to go to the Perfect Bun because you can never go wrong with it. I finally got my semi-mexican fix with their version of a burrito and it was delicious. We then walked back to my apartment were the rest of us got ready before headed out for the night. We tried to go to this coffee house/art gallery for free live music but it was so crowded that we ended up just finding a pub and watching the soccer game! Before finding the pub we found another live music venue but it too was so crowded because the rooms are so small here. But we decided we definitely want to come back and try to go hang out at them again!
