We got back to Rome on Wednesday and checked into our apartment before going out to get dinner! We went to a restaurant that I had been to with my friends for lunch before going bike riding the Friday before spring break! We got a cheese platter that was incredibleeeee!! After dinner we walked over the river to a gelato place called something Romana and it was so good. I introduced the fam to cones filled with chocolate with the gelato! The next day for dad's birthday we went to the Vatican. Our tour lasted about 5 hours but we had the most amazing guide! She was so informative and kept us interested the entire time! I loved it!! We then got lunch at this restaurant that she suggested to us that was right down the street! It was called Arula's. After the vatican tour and lunch we went to Old Bridge for gelato. We then made our way back to the apartment for a nap before the evening! For dinner that night we went to a restaurant that my friends and I like in Campo dei Fiori! Ross finally got his gnocchi and agreed with me that it is for sure the best in Italy. The next day we went to the trevi fountain before heading to get lunch and doing some shopping before our next activity! We also made Magnum bars for a snack!! We then went to the Colosseum, Roman Forum, and Palentine Hill! They were so fun to see! After those tours we went and got appertivo at a little restaurant on Via Urbana near my house! Then we had our last dinner at Cafe Romano and it was AMAZING. I am so happy we all got to finally be together again :)
