Semester in Europe!

So this was our first Friday in Rome that no one was going out of town or had a field trip or had friends in town!! So we decided to all go explore new stuff in Rome! We had all heard about renting bikes and going through villa Borghese so we decided to check it out. This villa is at the end of the big shopping street in Rome and has so much land and gardens! We all met up for lunch before heading there. Lunch was delicious we all got pasta and dessert because what better way to start off spring break?! After lunch we walked up to the villa and rented a four person bike. We had it for an hour and it was SO much fun. Most definitely my favorite thing in Rome so far. The gardens just go on forever and ever... There was so much to see and it was so beautiful and the bike was so much fun! We almost went down a staircase and had to u-turn... Also ended up on a real street and had to u-turn... But what else do you expect when you have Hannah Clarke in the front seat?? We were so adventurous I was so proud. After our hour was up and we relentlessly gave the bike back, we stopped at a cafe at the top of the villa looking over all of Rome. They had PEACH TEA. yes it was €5 which was all because of the view but it was so worth it. We sat there for a while because it was so beautiful. After our snack we headed down the shopping street and spent some time there before heading off to dinner! We went out for apertivos as our meal. Then we got gelato of course! Then Alexa came and spent the night! It was such a wonderful day in Rome! The weather could not have been more perfect for such an adventurous day!
