Semester in Europe!

This morning before class Justine and I stopped in a little caffe on our street for breakfast! They were so nice and we stayed there for a long time because the atmosphere was so inviting! They had the typical pastries for breakfast but what blew me away was the coffee. I got a cappuccino like I have gotten every morning but he asked me if I wanted a small or a large... obviously this Starbucks addicted girl voted for the large and I now have decided that this large cappuccino is the sole purpose of why I am in Rome. It was a mug as big as my face, much like my Harvard mug at home, and it was absolutely delicious. They sprinkled coco powder on the top of the foam from the steamed milk and the espresso was incredible! I was talking about that drink all the way to school. Once at school I headed into my photography class where each day our teacher gets more and more passionate about photography, which makes the class one of my favorites. Since I had my coffee sent from God himself in me I was able to keep up and participate in the lecture on the history of photography and have a fantastic class! Can you tell that I loved this coffee??? After class, Alexa, Justine, and I headed downstairs to the Perfect Bun, our American classic restaurant, where we sat for probably two hours simply talking about our classes, reminiscing on our adventures so far, and simply enjoying all that we are able to experience. We then all had Italian class where at the end our teacher made us tell stories on cultural differences in Italian! It was very challenging but it ended up being hilarious once we all were able to understand each others stories! After class we sat down and booked our trip to Switzerland! We then got to go to a cooking class where we learned how to make gnocchi, Roma style, and crepes! They were absolutely delicious!! I have the recipes that I can attach soon!
