Semester in Europe!

We flew into Vienna and got a cab to our amazing hotel! After checking in and getting settled in we went to the rooftop bar where we got a little appetizer and drink before going out to explore! The rooftop had an amazing view of our area of the city, it was so relaxing. After this we walked to the Opera House that is famous in Austria! This is where Mozart composed. It was gorgeous and we walked all the way around it! Next we walked down one of the main streets that has a lot of stores in it. This runs from the Opera House to St. Stephen's Cathedral which is where we went next. St. Stephen's is gorgeous and looks like a huge drippy castle because of the architecture. Around the church was a cute little market full of jewelry and food and other local goods! We then made our way back to the hotel where we ate at the incredible steak restaurant there! The next morning we had breakfast at the hotel before we set out for the day. We then made our way to City Hall (Rathsmus) and on the way we saw the Spanish Riding School, Museum Quarter, and the Parliament building! Apart of the Spanish Riding School is the old Hapsburg Palace where they lived while in rule. Once we arrived at the City Hall we went inside to their restaurant where we got a traditional Austrian meal - full of meat, rice, and veggies! Next we went to a famous coffee and dessert place that our hotel told us about. Here we got a few Austrian desserts, one of which was the strudel! After our dessert we walked towards a chocolate store that is famous there and got some chocolate then walked around as we made our way to St. Peter's. We then made our way back to the hotel and had dinner across the street at Liebsteinsky! It was delicious! The next morning for breakfast we ate at a pastry shop next door to our hotel. Then before catching our train to Prague we ate lunch again at Liebsteinsky! We loved it!! Next stop Prague!!
