Semester in Europe!

So this past week has been pretty nice as we are finally getting into our routine! Today though is the first time that a Thursday has been considered the start of the weekend for me because I have had field trips on Fridays before now! So per usual we woke up and went to class and then for lunch today, Justine and I found an amazing salad place!! They are huge and have so much ingredients in them and you can get them to go!! It was delicious and only a block from school. After classes ended, Justine, Taylor, Alexa and I went to a place by school that has amazing pastries and cookies! They had small fried Nutella that we all tried also! We then stopped in a place because I saw freshly made peach tea and have been craving it so we went in there and enjoyed tea time (a little late but hey we miss London so who cares) and talked for about an hour! We then went out to a place called Campo di Furi which has a lot of shopping, a cool square, and lots of places for apertivos. We found one place for 5 Euros with an unlimited buffet and one drink so we enjoyed a dinner full of yummy appetizers! We hung out there for a while enjoying the evening before heading back to the apartment for the night! During the school weeks we have pretty much just eaten and walked around the area between classes! I found this one cafe with sandwiches for only two euros! However, nothing beats our favorites -- The Perfect Bun and Buddy's. I also finally found a pair of black booties that I love and its perfect time because I am almost walking through my current booties!! Now that we have a routine and have explored our neighborhood and found places to hang out around the city, we feel a lot more at home. We now are obsessed with the neighborhood that we live in and all of the culture that it has to offer! There are so many restaurants and cute shops to go into or just window shop! ANDDDD luckily my two favorite places for gelato are in our neighborhood!! Also, yesterday during class we went to Castle de San Angelo! Emperor Hadrian lived there then the popes took it over and lived there! It was very interesting to see! My favorite part was the view from the top! We then went and found a very cool shopping street near our apartment!
