Europe

After breakfast & finishing my packing I headed out for a takeaway coffee from Torch. We then wandered along to bus station to board the bus to Granada. The journey took three hours. We caught a taxi & met our new host Ricardo. He provided a map & showed us the supermarket, places to see & a few tapas bars that the locals use, he explained when you order a drink they bring you tapas. He asked if we had tickets to Alhambra, & when we said no he said they sell out months in advance. Unfortunately this is true, the next available tickets that included the palace were 1 June.
We headed out to the supermarket as we hadn’t had any lunch, by the time we returned with bread rolls & jam it was 4.30, we’d also purchased eggs, cheese, potatoes, tomatoes, milk, wine & beer.
I went back over Ricardo’s map & worked out a plan for tomorrow. I also did some washing, I think it’s called a French style machine, you secure the drum closed (see photo). We had a light dinner about 8pm of omelette with pooky chips (potatoes cut into wedges & baked in the oven until crisp, no oil). It was perfect, we then watched some Netflix, I watched Dirty John & Richard watched After Life.
