Europe

I woke with a headache & feeling sick, I’m sure it’s my neck as I find some of the pillows aren’t very supportive.
We had breakfast & finished our packing & headed to the train station for our 11.34am train. Before boarding we purchased a baguette, found the platform & also where to stand so our carriage was near, which seemed to work ok. The train trip was only two hours, luckily as there was a baby who kept grizzling, also the man in front of me smelt, neither are good when you have a headache & feel sick anyway. We didn’t pass as many mustard fields as I thought we would, the scenery was really pretty, we followed the river Saône for a while, the country side was so green & the trees have leaves & it was a lovely sunny spring day.
We arrived in Dijon & caught a taxi, the walk to our apartment would have taken about 35 mins, just a bit too far with our cases. We met our host who speaks no English so the tour around the apartment was lots of miming lol, there was a bit of confusion with the wifi network & password as she said she’d email us through Airbnb but without wifi we can’t access Richards Airbnb account, anyway we sorted that out in the end. I laid down on the couch & after a rest Richard headed out to the supermarket. I felt a bit better after a cup of tea. We had a nice piece of steak for dinner & then watched Netflix separately.
