After breakfast we headed for a coffee, my last at the cafelab, I haven’t searched coffee shops in Barcelona .... yet!!
We then headed for a walk the other way along the Rio Segura (the river). The path along the river bank is closed both sides but it does look like they are doing repairs. The river is quite wide in the city but narrows as you leave, we passed a weir, I assume there’s one the other end as well. The bike / walking track continues for quite a distance, we walked for about 45 mins & again passed orange groves. We could see the Cristo de Monteagudo on the hill in the distance. We stopped in Carrefore on our way back, buying some salad items for dinner & muesli bars & fruit & nut mix to take on the train.
We had lunch at a market similar to the one in Seville, we had a salmon pizza & lasagna to share & a couple of glasses of wine. We then headed home. We did some packing & then watched the last two episodes of Black Earth Rising & had the left over risotto.
