I had a 9am hair appointment with Lynne’s hairdresser, Andrea. I haven’t had my haircut since leaving Melbourne so was really looking forward to this appointment. I decided not to get any colour.
After a coffee & a wander around Hexham, I brought a strawberry cupcake for myself as a birthday cake as nobody had got me a cake the day before, I headed back to the apartment. I went out to buy Mum & I some tights & also purchase some wine to take to Lynne’s tonight. Lynne dropped off the keys for mums flat as I wanted to do some measuring. After a restful afternoon, a cup of tea & 1/2 a cup cake & singing Happy Birthday to myself, we met Bruce & Chester (the spaniel) & walked out to Lynne & Bruce’s across the fields & woods, such a beautiful walk & a lovely afternoon. Molly had arrived earlier & Bruce’s son Adam was also there. Bruce bbq’d our dinner, the salmon was delicious & we had a nice evening chatting & looking at some old photos. Richard & I caught a taxi home about 9.30pm.
