2017 Alaska adventure - Culver, Oregon to Caldwell, Idaho

We left Culver and travelled through wide open desert areas once again. There is lots of sand and scrub brush. The hills are made of sandstone and have very little vegetation. Every once in a while we see a solitary tree sitting on the side or top of a hill. We decided to spend two nights in Caldwell to look around a bit and run errands.
