2017 Alaska adventure - Seward Day 2

Seward, Alaska, 08.10.2017

The guys decided to take a 12 hour fishing excursion through Resurrection Bay to the Gulf of Alaska. The weather was much better than the previous day. Although there was some seasickness, it was tolerable. Both our guys had a great time and brought home a lot of fish. They caught halibut, 45 lb ling cod, and rock fish. After cleaning we each received 13 lbs of fish for meals. They had a wonderful time.

Meanwhile the ladies decided to do a little touring in Seward. We stopped in a few shops and then decided to visit the Alaska Sealife Center. This is a fabulous place. They have lots of hands on exhibits for children and adults. They have a touch tank for various species of sea life. We both agreed that the visit was very informative and enjoyable.

Tonight we had some of the salmon that Bruce caught while in Valdez. It was great and it was free!

Tomorrow we head to Homer, Alaska.
