Calgary to San Francisco

After chilling out this morning we went looking for a beach. There is a tiny harbour near us but no beach so went further round the bay to a park. We walked along some trails, finding decorated stones etc that someone had left on dome trees. The beach there was all stones so a dog walker there advised us to go round to the other side of the bay. The beach there was better although still quite stony. The tide was out so it was quite big. We had a paddle and after initially not liking it Lewis enjoyed splashing around. When the tide turned it came in quite quickly. We saw a harbour seal poking it’s head out of the water before we headed back to the apartment. From the apartment you can see right across to Mount Baker in the US. It is an active glaciated volcano in the North Cascades of Washington.
