Calgary to San Francisco
We had a lazy morning after the travelling we had done in the last three days. We walked down into the village in the afternoon for a look round. It is pedestrianised with lots of restaurants, cafes and bars. There are lots of outdoor clothing shops, some gift shops and places to rent equipment. It is very popular with cyclists in the summer with the lifts going up from the village. At the end of village is the Olympic Plaza. This has a lovely play area for children which Lewis loved. The Olympic Rings and cauldron are there from the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics. It is a lovely village to stroll round and you can see why it is such a popular ski resort with ski lifts and runs surrounding it. We found the Great Glass Elevator candy shop which had lots of tempting sweets in.
