Calgary to San Francisco
We’ve had a very lazy day after all the travelling we’ve done in the last few days. We did some laundry this morning and then went down to the boardwalklater this afternoon. We walked along to the wharf to get food and then walked back to the boardwalk to go on the rides. If you took an empty Coke bottle to the ticket office after 5pm the wrist band for unlimited rides was less than half price so that’s what Rachel and the girls did. They had a good time and then at 9pm it was time for the movie on the beach - Raiders of the Lost Ark. We had taken blankets and warm clothes down with us so we were able to keep warm as it does get chilly in the evenings. There is a movie each Wednesday and concerts on Fridays, all free, during the summer. There were lots of people there tonight so they seem to be popular. I was talking to a local woman who said that lots of movies had been filmed in Santa Cruz including The Lost Boys which was usually the first film shown in every season.
