Calgary to San Francisco
Today we went to the water park here at Lake Lopez. It wasn’t as big as we thought it would be and only had a shallow pool with slides for young children. There were water chutes for the older people and a stampede ride where you went down a steep slope and up the other side, back down and up until you stopped. Rachel took the Lola on it in a double ring and she loved it. She then took Evie but she wasn’t so keen. She loved the water chutes though and went down them lots of times. They spent the rest of the time playing in the smaller pool. It was very hot and we spent the time sitting in the shade, moving the chairs round as the sun moved to keep out of the heat. The girls enjoyed the 6 hours we spent there but it was a shame there was no big pool for the adults.
