The Smith's USA Trip

Another big day today. We used a town car service from the hotel and went to Knotts Berry Farm. This was a pretty fun place. Lots of big rides that we all enjoyed and the way the place was set out was pretty cool. Loved the old west section.
The boys had a ball trying out the different rides and particularly loved the spinny ones (which Craig and I avoided).
We ended the afternoon by getting a beautiful leather painting of our family name.
We got on so many rides at this place. I'm actually not sure how the boys weren't sick of it after a while.
Most interesting ride of the day would have to have been the Pony Express. This one actually had you sitting on seats shaped as horses and you leant forward over them as a mechanical arm came up behind you and held you in place. It was a very short ride, but fun.
The most terrifying ride we all went on would have to be the Ghostrider. This is a big wooden rollercoaster that is quick, rough and has plenty of turns and drops to make your stomach feel a little off. We were so proud of Blake for going on this one, considering he had just flat our refused to try most rides. The poor thing was so terrified he closed his eyes for 90% of it and, being the loving caring mother I am, all I could do was laugh the entire way.
A really fun day that we all enjoyed, though we were absolutely exhausted afterwards.
