The Smith's USA Trip

Again, we had a sleep in today after a really late night.
This morning we were all a bit worn out after our day before but Craig was desperate to head up and check out Rick's Restorations and the boys wanted to go and have a look at the Stratosphere tower too.
We wandered up to the Stratosphere, paid our way in (little pricey just to go and look!) and Kaine and Craig both paid for one ride each as well. Kaine was only big enough to go on The Big Shot (a giant drop style ride). Craig was seriously unimpressed when they got up there and he realised that the ride was on the outside of the tower, not the inside (I have no idea why he thought that in the first place!). Apparently he tried to convince Kaine it was okay not to go on it but Kaine was his usual little dare devil and was determined to go.
Them returning from the ride was the funniest thing I've seen in a long time - Kaine practically bounded off the elevator all excited and Craig comes out behind him, legs wobbling and white as a ghost! BAHA!
We also got to watch someone doing the Sky Jump off the tower whilst we were there. Crazy. Crazy , crazy is all I can say.
It was back to solid ground then and we walked up to Rick's Restorations (I don't know what the hell it is about over here but Craig can just NOT get a grip on his bearings. Would be TOTALLY lost if we were relying on his navigational abilities!)
Rick's Restorations was a pretty cool experience. Walking in I spotted Ron, Rick's brother, sitting out the front so Craig and the boys got a quick photo with him. We went in, got our tickets for the workshop tour and waited. Brettley was wandering around while we waited and Rick's daughter Ally (didn't even know about her till now!) was ushering people through the gift shop and tour.
When we entered the tour we straight away got to see Rick walking around. The only two we didn't get to see at all that we see regularly on the show were Tyler and Cowboy.
We were extremely lucky too because Rick normally does photos with people at 1pm and that's it. We arrived around 1.30 so thought we had missed out. Another man on the same tour as us asked about whether they would do more photos so Ally asked and Rick agreed to! We got a family photo with Rick! Craig was so excited (biggest...kid....ever!).
After that we decided to wander back down to our hotel and get ready to go and see Le Reve.
I thought the show was amazing and Craig quite enjoyed it too. The sets were just amazing and then the height that the actors/performers dropped from to dive into the water - wow. The boys found it difficult to follow, though they were impressed with some of the stunts too.
From there we walked back down the Strip to get some night time photos. Managed to catch the Volcano show at the Mirage and then also saw the fountain show at the Bellagio again.
Taxi back to the hotel and another late night again.
