Yamas!

What a glorious day we spent on the beach today! It was a very hot day (around 30 degrees) so we decided to rent 2 beach chairs and an umbrella for 6 Euros. It was a good decision, because it didn't take long before all 4 of us were trying to squeeze under the shade of the umbrella! (photo #1)

Agios Pokopios is a such a cute little beach town. Kelley and I wandered the streets a bit this morning, looking through the quaint little beach side shops. The only thing I wanted to take home was the kitty cat curled up in the scarf display in one store! (Photo 2) I'm in love with all the stray cats and try and feed them whenever I can - they're all so skinny...not like my adorable chubbers at home, Miss Lana Applebottom.

We had a wonderful lunch of pizza and wine...we even had one more bottle of yesterday's vintage left too! (photos 3 and 4). We then walked down the beach and found some star fish (sill alive too!). (photo 5)

Then...the next thing you know we came upon the nudist beach section! Kelley and Karen were taken aback and were so happy we had floppy hats on to pull down over our eyes! My first impression is that nudists are not the beautiful people on the beach...oh my...the things we saw, or should I say tried not to see! Well, it only took a couple of minutes before Jim and Pete had their suits off and went swimming in the sea! I had full permission to take this photo and post it too! I must say, my husband does have a very shiny white bum! (photo 6)

After this experience, there wasn't too much that could top the day! OK, maybe the 4 of us huddling together on 2 beach loungers, in Greece would be a close second! (Photo 7) We had another delicious dinner out, followed by our rooftop drink and star gazing....sadly only one donkey took the challenge of drinking the Kitron tonight! The other could not accept tonight, but there's always tomorrow...
