We are excited to share our Travel Diary with you! This journal will provide highlights and photos of our 37 day trip to Greece. Once our trip is over, we will be able to create a hard copy keepsake book! What a great idea!
The "Greek Squad" is comprised of Kelley and Jim Liebzeit and Karen and Pete Wiebe. Kelley and Karen met in 1987 as co-workers at the Victoria General Hospital in Winnipeg. They struck an instant friendship and before long, Jim and Pete were introduced and discovered that they both grew up in Fort Garry and went to the same high school!
During our 30 years of friendship, we have shared a lot of great times along with our 5 handsome sons! Early in our friendship we decided that some day we would take a trip to Greece! We are so excited to say that now, this dream is becoming reality!
For years, we have been readying ourselves for this trip by preparing and eating Greek food, having Greek parties, wearing togas and drinking Greek wine and spirits! We must admit, Kelley and Karen have had their struggles with olives, Retsina wine, and Ouzo, but this has not deterred us!
We hope you enjoy following along with us on this exciting adventure! We'll be adding to our diary on a daily basis (or whenever we have WiFi), so sit back, relax and enjoy Greece with us! Opa!
