Today was a quiet, stay at home kind of day with the kids. After breakfast we took the kids to the local public library to return some books and borrow some new ones. We then went to the supermarket to pick up a few ingredients that Nadia needed to make rice croquettes, known in Nadia's family as Tummies.

We had lunch shortly after and then Nadia started to cook while the kids played board games and watched some TV. Damien was outside putting together a patio umbrella that Mary and Adrian had bought online.

Miranda helped Nadia shape and crumb the Tummies while Nadia fried them. Nadia is never very confident about how her Tummies are going to turn out, and there was plenty of pressure since the kids were looking forward to eating one of their favourite treats when they visit Nonna. Everyone was very happy with the end result!

Mary and Adrian went out for dinner tonight so we ordered pizza from a local restaurant for the kids and watched a bit more TV before putting Jude to bed and Miranda heading to bed not long after.
