US Trip 2018
We checked out of the hotel this morning and headed to the train station to take the Amtrack train for the trip to New York. The trip takes over 3 hours on a very fast train. It was a comfortable trip and it was nice to take in the scenery as it sped past the window.
We arrived in New York a bit after 3pm. The hardest part of the whole process was getting out of Penn Station, but once we were out we headed to our hotel which was just around the block.
The hotel is located in a great spot not far from Korea Town so we had an early dinner at a Korean BBQ restaurant which was lovely and then wandered around the city to familiarise ourselves with what's nearby. It was nice that there were some landmarks that we recognised from our last visit in 2014.
