This was a relatively small area. Not may trees. It was just a stop over spot. We parked on the side of the road leading to a dead end along the fence. On the road side we had shade from the van and there was a beautiful strong breeze blowing. Oh Yah, Lovely.

The Back Packer:
We noticed a small car on the other side of us parked in the cal de sac. She was sitting inside the car for about 1/2 hour before coming out ( Must have cooked by then) and started to set up her very tiny tent. She did this against the wind??? Finally she managed to get the tent up, air bed pumped up and then she went inside and zipped it shut!!!H -O-T!!!
We didn't see her come out after that!
Highlights:
The parrots- thousands of them flying from one side of the road to the other and into the paddocks. Someone forgot to tell them there is no water in the river.
The scenery:
Absolutely beautiful! We saw lots of cows right on the absolute edge of the road eating grass. Father tooted, however, they just looked up and gave him a dirty look as if to say ' What's your problem?' Further down the road there was a truck picking up the dead cows. Image hitting one of those. Thankfully, not us!
