Weather: Very warm, yet bearable!
We stopped at the Ansett Museum, which father found very interesting. I like the mannequins in the uniforms, cause it reminded me of Wendy in the 'good old days'!!! I enjoyed the comfy seats!
The next day we stopped in Mount Gambier and did some shopping. We'd been here before and looked at the sights so it was just a stopover this time. At the Information Centre, we visited their Discovery exhibition. Even though it wasn't completely finished, it was very interesting. We watched a mini laser show about the first white people in Mount Gambier, how they killed a lot of the aborigines-'Thirsty Blood suckers'!

Father the money man'!
We were saving our meagre supply of cans and bottles for the 10 cent returns as Victoria doesn't have this scheme and we knew that South Australia did!
SP off we went to the collection centre which is like our waste disposal centres. Everyone else came with their trailers of cans and father gets out his 4 tiny boxes. The ladies their count each one by hand. We get a whopping $8.10 for our troubles!!! Needless to say, I was informed by the 'money maker' that we are not collecting cans anymore!
Highlights:
Ansett Museum: The movie about Sir Reginald Ansett would have been extremely interesting to those in the know, however, I found it a bit long. Father was swooning over the motor bits and the 2 Ansett coaches. I was hoping to get a 'trinket of some kind, however, the pickings were very limiting. One can only have so many caps or stubbie holders!
