This was a very large area well off the road and lots of trees and plenty of shade. We were right beside the lovely dry river and a little nook of our own. Oh yah, Lovely!!!
Oh My Goodness:
Fitzroy Crossing Natives:
Again the natives, just hung around the shops, however, father was impressed as one of the young natives opened the door for him.
Dump bins:
They all have padlocked lids with bin lids on top!
Highlights:
Termite mounds:
Thousands of them everywhere. Some are tall and skinny, others are big, round and bulbous!
Cows and Brolgas:
Right on the side of the side of the road eating. Brahmas Cows everywhere crossing the road.
Ngumban Cliff: You see these mountains in the distance with flat tops. When we get to the top there is a rest area that overlooks the ranges. This bird was trying to 'groom' itself in the review mirror of this car.
