Wow! It was a huge Rest Area with 3 dump points and about 30 vans. Still heaps of room. We were told that if you had to be early for a
water front spot! We did the loop into Kalbarri at Gerard's suggestion and visited the Pink lake at Gregory
Oh My Goodness:
3 dump points- what a service in the middle of no-where.
No visit to the National Park:
You had to uncouple in town as you couldn't go to the park with a caravan. That' OK, however, 'Someone' couldn't be bothered so we missed the gorge. Oh well- Next trip.
Highlights:
Pink Lakes:
Wow! What an amazing site. Apparently there is an bacteria in the water that makes the water appear pink.
Kalbarri:
Wow, wow, wow!! from the south you come into the town up in the hills and you over look the beautiful estuary. It's an amazing site. I was going to paddle in the water until I got our of the car- brrrrr! too cold!
