14. Pink Beach-Kingston SE

This was just a stopover town as the towns are quite far apart. This was a tiny spot right on the beach. Alas, it was extremely painful to walk on the soft sand so whilst we would walk down to the beach area we didn't go far, which was a shame cause the water is very calm almost like a lake.

Oh My Goodness:
The precision man!
Most people stop when they arrive at a new site and often you will see them gesturing with their hands as to where they will park. Oh my goodness!!! Not this matie! They both got out and there he is gesturing, pacing it out and verbalising for the whole park to hear, as to where he was going to park! And, just in case you missed it the first time we were enlightened about 3-4 times! His poor wife!
Father made the mistake of chatting to him about his van- He then got the run down as to what it was, how it was made, where you get it and the fact that he was very unhappy about his 'ball' weight. Never fear- he got the manufacturers to fix it by putting the water tanks right at the back- Fathers response: What a beep, beep, beep! won't do much when empty. THe matie then went on to inform father about his $7.000.00 cost for his auto gearbox repairs- why didn't he just buy a new car!

Bike ride:
Father took the bikes off and we went into town, visited the only op shop, had Fish and chips for lunch and coffee in the old courthouse. Oh yah YUMMIE!!!

EMUS:
on my bucket list I had: see emus on the wild. Well... We were driving along the forest on the highway from the falls to Mount Gambier when I saw a family of emus. We were driving 100klms an hour so of course 'someone' was not stopping- a whole family of emus!!!!

Cape Jaffa Lighthouse:
We couldn't go into the real one as it was closed, so we looked at the model in the Information Centre.
