Weather: Rain and gale force winds
We were going to stop at Coles Point Beach. It was 21klms of 'medium good' dirt road. When we got there it was blowing 40 knots gale force winds. You could park right on the cliff edge.
We decided to push on and just stop in a rest area on our way to the next major town: Streaky Bay.
Oh My goodness:
My head got a wax job from the wind!!! I had to look in the mirror to check that my hair was still attached to the wind.
I had to hang on for dear life when opening the door to both the car and the van.
Highlights:
The amazing see view at Coles Beach
The Front-Yard Emu:
We drove into Coffin Bay to have a look and say an emu wandering around suburbia in the front yard of one of the houses!
Port Lincoln:
We stopped here to do some fill ups of petrol/gas/Bunnings. Beautiful Harbour!
