Road Trip 2017

Today, we got up and hustled to head out. We wanted to hike in Arches National Park, but we had a short window without rain to do it. Using our weather app, we timed it PERFECTLY! We were able to do our hike without a drop of rain. This is an amazing place – nowhere like anywhere we have ever been!

As soon as we pulled out, the storm arrived. We had planned to camp in Bryce Canyon tonight, but the weather was going to be really bad. So, we decided to just push through, skip Bryce, and head to Vegas to get us closer to home. None of us wanted to be home yet, but this made our next two drive days a little shorter. Now, we just need to figure out what we’re going to do over the next two days……

Driving through southern Utah is breathtaking. There are tons of canyons to drive through. They are beautiful and make you feel very small. This was a much better drive than the salt flats of northern Utah that we had originally planned to drive through.

We drove back through Arizona and into Nevada, arriving at our RV Park at about 8:00 (but actually 7:00 – we picked up our final hour today).
