No one slept well last night, so we all got up really early today, and decided to reward ourselves with IHOP for breakfast. Then, we headed out to see Niagara Falls. The girls were amazed. There were a lot of “WOW”s, and they both said that it was really pretty and AMAZING. We walked along the walkway to see both the Canadian and American Falls up close (well, as close as we could get on land). Then, we went into yet another gift shop to buy souvenirs and Canadian candy.

We drove back across the border (very quick process, actually) through New York and Pennsylvania on our way to Ohio. Along the way, a red Ferrari passed us, and Scott was really hoping that Christie Brinkley would be driving!

We had originally planned to stop at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, but then decided we just wanted to get to Scott’s Aunt & Uncle’s house. As we drove through Cleveland, Scott just couldn’t do it though. We ended up stopping at the Hall of Fame, and touring it for a couple of hours.

That put us at the Emmert’s at about 8:30. This place was so beautiful. They live on 4 acres right next to the river. The girls were really excited to see more fireflies too! Scott’s Aunt Liz had a home cooked meal of meatloaf, baked beans, and scalloped potatoes waiting for us. This meal was SOOOOO GOOD! She also had an ice cream dessert that was out of this world. We all asked for the recipes, and hope to make them when we are home again.
