Road Trip 2017

Well, today was another long drive day. We left at 8:00am. So, where do you stop for a meal on a long drive? Cracker Barrel!! We drove through South Carolina and North Carolina to Virginia. South Carolina has had the most elaborate state entry we have seen so far!
We did not make any other stops along the way. We are still seeing armadillo road kill, and the occasional raccoon, turtle, and a possible porcupine and alligator.

We thought there really wouldn’t be much to write about today, and there really wasn’t. BUT….there’s ALWAYS something! As we arrived at our RV Park at about 7:00pm, a guy on a cart drove up with hillbilly music blaring from his homemade speakers attached to the cart. This guy was so proud of his ride! As Scot was trying to get directions of where our spot was, the guy walked up and danced in front of Scott, swaying his hips and telling him that he thought we’d be neighbors! Stacy and the girls were watching the whole thing from the windows, cracking up! Sure enough, we were neighbors with the guy, but we didn’t see any more of him for the rest of the night. The girls were excited to see fireflies as we ate dinner though! We also listened to the Hamilton soundtrack to get ready for the next few days as we ate.
