The Sassy llamas
After a restless nights sleep in the hostel (Friday night being party night). We were up at 7.30 and set off on our taxi journey with Edwardo who took a shining for Nicola... We set off for Tayrona Park, which is an hour north of Santa Marta, having under estimated the cost we finally made it into the park!
Within minutes of being out of the car we had spotted a lot of lizards, I (Rach) just had to get over my fear.We set off on our two hour hike to el cabo stopping along the way for a few pictures and the views were just breath taking :)
When we reached the destination we had some treats and chilled out. There was barely anyone on the beach just a lot of biting bugs!
On Sunday, we got our trusty taxi again and off to Guachaca beach we headed on some bumpy roads! We were the only tourists on the beach and stood out like sore thumbs but that didn't stop us getting some sun rays (no sun-burn this time).
We made a dash for dinner, just our luck to get caught in a rain storm. Another exciting night of pizza and pasta. When we arrived back at the hostel we packed and organised transport back to Cartagena, thanks to Louise.
Monday, we made our way back to Cartegena, watching Channing Tatum passed the journey. After some wall exploration and another fro yo, we got ready for dinner.
