The Sassy llamas
After some relaxed drinks on Friday night meeting Conors workmates, we got up on Saturday to check out some of California's beaches.
We drove to Laguna beach and walked to the end of the pier. Very warm but Californian "May Grey" meant it was cloudy until about one. We then headed on to check out Huntington Beach which can only be described as a surfers paradise! Right on cue, the sun came out and we set up camp to get some Vitamin D!
On Saturday night, we headed out in Fullerton which was quite like the Gas light district in San Diego with all its busy bars. American bars have a very strict ID policy which our youthful faces should take as a compliment.
On Sunday we went to Laguna beach which was smaller than Huntington. When the sun came out we caught up on some more vitamin D and at 6pm we made tracks for dinner.
Conor took us to Yard Shop which was FAB!! We even got a free brownie yum yum!!
When we came home, we went to the third floor of Conors apartment block and watched the Disneyland fireworks from afar. Perfect way to end our Cali adventures!
On Monday, we chilled by the pool all day and then made our way to Burbank airport.
Next stop Columbia!!! Ahhhhhh!!!!!!
