The Sassy llamas
After a long customs queue to get into Chile, we checked into Hostal La Florida, to no running water! We caught up with wifi correspondence and got some poor man's steaks for dinner in Adobe!
Tuesday, after breakkie we thawed out in the sun in Hostal Rural, then after a bargain lunch in IntiSol we headed for Pukara and Mirador Del Quitor, for some amazing views of San Pedro and the mountain ranges! After some wine over a bonfire we headed star gazing at 11pm (learning just how big the universe is and seeing Saturn through a telescope).
Wednesday, an early start for some sand boarding with Sandboard San Pedro. We huffed and puffed our way to the top of the sand slope 8/9 times to make the 'smooth' decent! Another lunch in IntiSol, some sun bathing and dinner, we retired after some life planning and interview prep!
Thursday, we rented some bikes while the girls interviewed. We cycled up to Devils Valley and hiked into the centre to mounds of mud! At 3pm we did the valley tour with PandaTrip, we crawled through caves, saw the salt flats of Atacama, the 3 Maria's and watched the sun set over moon valley, where we could see the Andes mountains change colours as dust fell! Back to the hostel, some packing and dinner.
