So after 18 hours of travel, 2 buses, and a dramatic change of climate, we finally reached the next milestone crossing the border into country #3, Peru!
We settled in with well deserved mojitos and another disputed "best yet" meal at a local Mexican!
Day 2 saw us lapping it up in sun for a well deserved pool day - having danced our night away masqued & coloured for the occasion! Mancora also brought us the "screeching" excitement as some of the girls experienced swimming the local turtles which made for great entertainment.
We finished up with another good meal all thanks to the 'panne caliante 'and strawberry dacquiris 'SIN sucre' and a good game of giant jenga that ended with great haste due to the near death of the precious iPhone 6!!!
Tuesday morning brought the first trade off in the group, as I bid farewell to Le Super Ocho! - Taking my place was a tall, dark and handsome Irish - local!!! So with no objections from the group I left the girls in the capable hands of Graces brother to show them the ropes for next few days! 'buena suerte chicas'. We split for dinner between Tao for Thai and The Beef house for burgers, after some cocktails we chilled for the evening!
On Wednesday, another pool day - treating ourselves to an Aqua (#1 trip advisor) dinner and dessert! Afterwards we listened to the tales of Rebecca and Enda while girls tried speed dating!
Thursday, pool, fabulous crepes and omlettes in La Mundo, and a quick prep for our 10pm bus to Trujillo!
