Morning came early but it was so good to sleep in a familiar bed. Funny how a foreign bed becomes familiar so quickly. Sleeping in different beds for 10 days makes you appreciate staying in 1 place for at least a little while, even more. Nothing can compare to home though. My favorite cereal was out today so that made my morning start off great. It is kellogg's (I think), but instead of just have strawberries in it, it also has raspberries. It's great. French this morning was a short lesson. We just learned some common phrases that we would need. Like "I don't speak French." That's a biggie. After French, we had some time. I tried to work on some other homework that I knew would drop on me like a 10 ton rock if I didn't start working on it. Our Western Heritage lecture was on more culture and art and such. We have a test on Thursday. It is approaching quickly. That is going to be death. All the dates and maps and connections and identification. whoopee. We also worked on trying to find a place to stay in Ireland. We succeeded. So the big free travel planning is complete. RELIEF. Chapel was refreshing after not having it for awhile. For lunch we had spaghetti, salad, and oranges. I miss fruit. I could've eaten all of the orange slices by myself. After lunch, I worked on more homework. I watched all of the videos for the second unit of Literature, worked on the study guide for our Bible test, sent some emails, organized all my assignments, and took a lot of notes. It was pretty exhausting so I took a nap. I napped for about an hour and then Ben called me. We didn't talk long but it is just nice to hear his voice here and there. I watched a little Netflix since I will be doing nothing but studying for the next three days and then it was dinner. We ate meatballs, soup, peaches, oranges, corn, and green beans. They also made some sweet tea, a treat. Braveheart was going to be playing after dinner so pretty much all of us watched it together. I don't think that is supposed to be a hilarious movie but somehow when all 26 of us were watching it, it became a comedy quickly. I worked on some discussion questions for Our Western Heritage while watching. We took a break for tea time and then resumed. We finished the movie and then I studied for one of my tests on Thursday. Tomorrow is not going to be a fun day. Lots of stress will soon follow. We are all dreading these days of classes. This is definitely not a recommended way for taking courses. Somehow we survive.
Fun Facts: I bought these chocolate covered mini waffles from the market a while ago. They are the best things in the whole world. America needs to sell these. The temperatures are finally dropping here. Before we left for the U.K. it was hot here. Now, there is a nice chill to the air.
