Europe 2017

Sunday are one of the few days I get more sleep since we don’t start worship until 10. That is funny since at home, Sunday are usually the days I have to wake up the earliest. We met for a short class upstairs and then went downstairs for worship. After the service, we went back upstairs and I could feel myself getting sick. I woke up in the middle of the night last night with the driest throat, the first sign. I was in denial and hoping the sickness would stay away. For lunch, we had Italian chicken and pasta with red sauce. After lunch, I finished reading some plays and doing a discussion board assignment. I studied some as well. I have three tests on Tuesday, 2 of which are monsters. The literature test is over 2 units and many readings and the OWH test is over 6 lectures. The other test is French which isn’t much of a concern but still takes some time away from studying for the other two. I studied a little and then took a nap before our group meeting at 2:30. The meeting was just to discuss our itinerary for when we are in Germany. We leave for that trip Wednesday and will be back a week later. That got us all excited for the trip, but at this point, I was quickly losing energy. I was a good student though and studied until dinner. Dinner was a potato bar and peaches. I made some tea for dinner to try and help my throat. I also drank some orange juice. It was too late though. I was feeling dead. I studied until tea time. After tea time, I showered, and then tried to study some more. I took some medication for my cold and I ended up looking through old videos on my computer for awhile. Fun times. I studied until about 2 am and then went to sleep. Days in the facility are usually just preparing for tests and looking forward to lunch, dinner, and tea time so I can take a break. Very exhausting.

Fun Facts: Ben likes to sing and I found a ton of videos of him doing so on my computer. More than I thought I had. They made my day much better. I also found some gems of my little baby Colvin. My nephews are such cuties.

Shoutout: Taylor Wilson. I found some videos from our time in New York City. They were GREAT. I didn’t love New York for itself, but I sure did have a wonderful and memorable time with you. miss you! we should go back and fall on the ice and freeze our noses off some more.
