Europe 2017
We woke up at 9, which was nice to sleep in a little. Then we ate some breakfast and cleaned up our mess we made in Mateo's grandmothers house. We finally said goodbye and went outside to meet the taxi. We thought we had gotten over all the Italy taxi mishaps but it struggled to get up a hill and I didn't think we would make it to the station on time. We were cutting it super close and we barely got to train station. We ran to train and jumped on as fast as we could and took it to Rome. From there we switched from the train station to the metro and tried to find our airbnb. We were a little early for meeting the guy who owned it so we walked to a hamburger place right next door. We got some fantastic burgers with fries for pretty good prices. This guy stops buy the place and asks us if we are waiting for him I think. We were waiting for a guy named Nicola and this guy was not him, but soon after Nicola came by and let us in. It was a really nice place with two bedrooms and a pull out couch so we all got to sleep on a bed. It was updated and even had a printer which is always a plus when traveling in Europe. It was super cold in there so we turned on the heat and relaxed for a little. My friend Devan was also in Rome the same day, so I had planned to meet her somewhere, but she was pretty far away and I would have to take the metro. I didn't want to make anyone in my group to come with me because we were all pretty tired from traveling and I didn't want to go out into Rome alone at night, so Devan and I agreed to not meet up. Verey sad since it was crazy we were there at the same time, but it was for the best. My girls ended up getting me another burger from downstairs while I talked to Ben for a little bit. I played with Hannah's hair for some time. She has the curliest prettiest hair. Then we went to bed!
