Europe 2017

It did not feel like a Monday. I felt like I had been in school for weeks. Probably because I have spent so much time working on school things. In French, we went over our last chapter of the unit and were assigned our take home test. I completed it after class and turned that in. OWH was just another long lecture and then we had chapel. Lunch was pasta with sauce and corn and salad. I had kitchen duty and then I studied until my test. We thought it was going to be at 2:30, but she didn't put it up until 3:30. I took the test, finally. It wasn't too bad. It was not as stressful as the first test. After the test, you'd think I would get a break. No. I had to read some more literature and start thinking about a group project for it. I walked with Lizzy to the post office, so she could send some post cards. It was then time for dinner. It was leftover night. I had some mandarin oranges and grilled cheese. Leftover night is never fun to clean since we have to clean all up the numerous leftovers dishes. After dinner, I began to pack for Paris and clean. I uploaded some pictures and finally painted my nails. Long overdue on both accounts. I am ready to take on Paris! I just wish it wasn't under the looming cloud of assignments. Doing a whole units worth of work for literature+ a group project+ preparing for finals + another class project in 3 and 4 days is not very fun. I know what waits for me when I return from Paris, and I dread it. BUT, that will be my last week of school for the semester, SO I will just wing it and wade through the stress when it comes, BECAUSE getting done with school this fast is unheard of. Here I come PARIS!

Fun Facts: Madeline is a childhood obsession and favorite, and tomorrow I get to pretend to be her. Also, Eiffel Tower comes along with that excitement thanks to Madeline.

Shoutout: Natalie Hoyt for drinking some tea with me tonight and being so excited about our friendship. You're the sweetest. Also you play bomb music while we clean, so that's cool too.
