Peace and Love Tour
Today we went driving for hours. But the good thing was we saw our first emu road kill for our road kill tally. We originally planned to stop for a break at the stromatolites but we decided we could see them another day so we stopped at Billabong roadhouse instead. The food there was expensive but the best food I’ve ever tasted. (Editor’s Note: He ate a ham and cheese toastie and two dim sims. Just want to make sure nobody reading this blog travels all the way to Billabong roadhouse expecting gourmet delights). Then we drove to Denham which was another hour and a half away. We drove past all three caravan parks to see which one we liked best. One had a caravan as the reception, another one looked good but we decided on the third one which was close to the beach and supermarket. When we were at the caravan park we found out the WiFi didn’t work and then our TV died, it started smoking. After about an hour in the caravan park we went for a walk to the visitors centre and played on the playground which was really good. On the way back to the caravan park we had an ice cream and went to the supermarket.
