Peace and Love Tour

Today we got up and left by 8:30. We drove down to Mt Barnett roadhouse where we were going on a walk to Manning Gorge. It was scorching hot at about 35 degrees and there were rocky shards sticking out of the ground making your ankles hurt because they had to stretch a lot. We ended up going the long way because we missed a turn which made it take like an hour longer to get through (Editor’s Note: slight exaggeration, more like twenty minutes longer). When we got there we put our feet in the water but not for long because there were mosquitoes in there. On the way back it was just like before except quicker because we did not go the long way. When we got back to this lake at the start with a boat and a rope on it, we had a swim in there to cool off. Then we drove another 70 ks to Gibb River Station! We had marshmallows on a fire after dinner and that was it.
