Peace and Love Tour
Today we drove to Ubirr and looked at some rock art. In the rock art there were people throwing spears and people getting killed and wounded. All of the art had stories that went with it which were meant to teach important lessons to the people in the clans. Then we drove down the road to a walk and there were safety signs saying there might be buffalo as well as crocodiles. When we went back to the caravan park we went for a swim in the pool, it was really cold but that was good because it was a really hot day. In the evening we watched a slideshow by the ranger, Kai, the same ranger we saw at the rock art in the morning. We found out all about what the different rangers have to do at Kakadu.
