Peace and Love Tour
Today after we packed up our grandmother went to get fuel which ended up taking about 40 minutes. Half the time was waiting for a bowser to be free and the other half spent paying because there was only one worker which meant they couldn’t serve anyone when they were making coffee orders. It got so crowded that when he asked who was bowser number 5 two people answered. We went on a short walk to Kathleen Springs after driving 20km from the camp site, then we drove back to the turn off to Uluru and Stuart Highway (this was the third time we went through this intersection). We had a very long drive to our camp site, a road house where we are staying tonight, 20 to 30 km from the SA border but still in NT. We had dinner at the road house where my mum had a veggie burger. I had chicken schnitzel with chips, which came with gravy which I gave to Mars. He had chips and a fish bassinette, which came with tomato sauce. Then we went back to our caravan and that was basically it for the day. No real ups and only the long fuel fill-up as a down.
